摘要
由于本科翻译教学重在实践性、功效性,所以,必须通过英汉宏观对比和语言能力提高两个维度来培养翻译能力。英汉宏观对比是教学翻译理论的核心,它包括语言宏观结构比较、英汉文化比较,旨在指明翻译时思维转化的大方向;语言能力的培养则使学生能自如地传意并进一步达到“精致化”。最后,作者还指出,英汉翻译教学中使用的词典应是英英词典,而不是英汉词典或快译通。
Thispapercontendsthatthetrainingof undergraduatestudents'competenceintranslationshouldbe basedon thecon-trastivestudybetweenEnglish&Chineseon a macrolevelandtheenhancementof students'languagecompetence.Consisting of theanalysisof contrastsbetweenlinguisticstructuresandbetweencultures,andfunctioningas thecoreof thetheoriesfor translationteaching,contrastivestudybetweenEnglishandChineseon a macrolevelaimsat explicatinggeneralshiftsin think-ingpatternin theprocessof languageconversion.As forenhancementof languagecompetence,theaimis to improvestudents'abilityto reproducemeaning-withease,andeventually,withgraceandfelicity.Finally,theauthorsuggeststhattheappropriate toolforE/CtranslationteachingshouldbeEnglish-Englishdictionariesandnotbilingualdictionariesor instantdictionaries.
