盖层是控制油气聚集的重要因素,盖层厚度与烃柱高度具正比关系。区域性盖层的作用更为重要,它是控制盆地油气富集程度和油气纵向分布的重要条件之一。区域盖层上下的油气性质有重大差异,区域盖层的发育与盆地沉降类型有关,可以通过沉降曲线判断盆地区域盖层的纵向分布。
The cap formations are an important factor in controlling hydrocarbon accumulation. A given height of the hydrocarbon culumn is related to a certain thickness of the cap formations. Regional cap formations play a more important role, which are one of the important factors for controlling abundance of hydrocarbon and vertical distribution in basins. Properties of oil and gas above and below a regional cap formation differs greatly. The development of regional formations are dependent on subsidence types of basins, vertical distribution of cap formation in basins can be predicted with the help of subsidence curves.
