Investigations of Flame-Retardant Finish for Pure Silk

Investigations are made on the retardant effectiveness of brominated diphenol Aderivative applied to the flame-retardant finish of pure silk fabric and the effects ofprocess conditions on the retardant property, yellowing degree and tenacity of thefinished fabric. This paper presents methods to improve flame-retardant washabilityand points out that fabric variety exerts certain influence on flame retardancy.
