摘要 为了使用户能够在浩瀚如海的多媒体信息中快速准确地进行检索,国际标准化组织ISO/IEC下辖的运动图像专家组制定了多媒体信息基于内容的检索方案—MPEG-7,其制定目标就是通过制定一组标准的描述符(Descriptor)及其描述模式(DescriptionScheme),使得内容描述与媒体内容结合,来构造一个统一的、标准的多媒体检索平台,使用户能够快速准确地进行检索.基于MPEG-7标准的处理模式,文章构造了一种基于分层特征抽取和分层组织存储MPEG-7标准索引数据库的视频信息检索模型,基于该模型将可以有效地组织和管理视频数据库,实现检索的通用性和资源的重复利用. MPEG-7 that is a content-based multimedia information retrieval solution was developed by the Moving Pictures Expert Group(MPEG), a working group of ISO/IEC, in order to implement fast and accurately retrieval in the enormous multimedia information. The goal is constructing an uniform and standard retrieval platform by designing a set of standard Descriptor and Description Scheme combining the feature description and multimedia content, which make users fast and accurately retrieval. The paper presents a video information retrieval model based MPEG-7 standard processing model by leveled feature selection and MPEG-7 index database framework. Based the model, we can implement effective structure and administration in video database, and the resource sharable and reusable.
