历史教育与民族精神

Historical Education and Ethos

民族精神的核心是爱国主义 ,而爱国主义的前提是对民族历史文化的认同 ,因此 ,历史文化认同是民族精神的承接面 ,否则民族精神因缺乏民族特质的整合 ,而泛化成人类共有的优点 ,无由彰显“民族”的精神。实际上 ,离开历史教育 ,民族精神就没有根植之处 ;离开历史教育 ,民族精神的培育就会因为缺少民族的历史文化认同这个基本承接面而难有实效。

The core of ethos is patriotism. Presuppositions of patriotism are historical identity and cultural identity. So, cultural identity is the foundation of ethos. If not, ethos become common merits of mankind. Because ethos is short of national characteristics, If haven't historical education, ethos have not foundation, bringing up ethos can't carry out, because ethos is a short of cultural identity. We should know that historical education is way of bringing up ethos.
