公民的本质精神与公民道德教育的建构

The Essential Quality of Citizens and the Construction of Citizen Moral Education

公民的本质精神体现在公民实存的历史和发展中,古代社会确立了公民的基本内涵,近代社会发展了内涵丰富的公民精神。我国公民道德教育是传统道德教育实行转向并回应现代公民精神缺失的一种建构性策略,公民道德教育所要建构的就是道德教育和公民教育相契合的体系。公民道德教育是以公民为对象,以培养“德性公民”为目的,以实现公民精神为宗旨的社会系统工程和终身教育体系。公民道德教育体系的建构不仅要以公民的本质精神作为着眼点,而且要针对公民本质精神在当代社会的实存状况,确定公民道德教育的重点内容和有效途径,并将建构的关键点放在提出实践措施上。

The essential quality of citizens is incarnated in human history. The essential connotation of 'citizen' was established in the ancient Western society, and it has been enriched in the modern society. To solve the problem of lacking of citizen quality, we need to reconstruct our citizen moral education which is to build up a system-a close combination of moral education and citizen education. It is a life-long education system. At present, the key is how to put forward practical measures in light of our present moral state and decide the focus of citizen moral education.
