Regional Horizon and Evolution of Literature, Ancient and Modern

文学古今演变研究中应重视地域空间因素。中国文学古今演变中的地域空间因素可以从贯穿性、假定性、制约性、差别性、矛盾性五个方面考虑。站在文学的立场上,要警惕都市化、现代化及全球化对文学地域性的消解,防止文学的水土流失、文学荒漠化的出现。

Studies on historical and current evolution of literature should pay close attention to the factor of regional horizon. A study of the regional horizon in historical and current evolution of Chinese literature should take into account five distinctions, namely, consistency, hypothesization, bindingness, difference and contradiction. From a literary perspective, we should guard against obscurity of the regional horizon by urbanization, modernization and globalization and try our best to prevent erosion and desertification in literature.
