摘要
西峡盆地晚白垩世红色陆相含恐龙蛋碎屑岩系由下而上划分为高沟组、马家村组和寺沟组。通过地质学和古生物学的系统研究分析以及与邻区对比,认为该时期的古气候大致承袭了早白垩世的气候特征,它与同期华南亚热带干旱气候区的特征接近,应属亚热带干旱、半干旱气候。
The red continental detrital rock series bearing dinosaurian eggs fossils of Late Creta-ceous in Xixia Basin may be divided into the following three stratigraphic units in ascendingorder: Gaogou Formation,Majiacun Formation and Sigou Formation. To pass through theresearch and systematic analysis of the geology and the paleontology and the correlations tothe adjacent areas, at the time the paleoclimate has adopted roughly the basical climate char-acteristics of Early Cretaceous. It may be closed to the characteristics of subtropical dry cli-mate of South China at same time. It can be belonged undoubtedly to the dry-hemidry cli-mate of subtropical zones.
