摘要
与国外已十分深入的背包旅游研究相比,我国对背包旅游的研究远远落后,而且理论研究落后于实践的发展。本文结合背包旅游者的消费行为特征、人口统计特征和社会行为特征,从经济、生态和社会意义三方面阐述了发展背包旅游对中国旅游目的地建设的重大意义,提出背包旅游者是中国现实国情下具有先导作用的旅游者,应当成为中国旅游目的地优先开发的客源市场。
The study of backpacking travel has always been a week point in China, compared with that abroad. Moreover, theoretical researches in this area have also lagged behind its booming practice. This article analyzed the demographic structure and consuming and social behavioral traits of backpackers, explained the significance of developing backpacking travel in constructing China's tourist destinations, pointed out that backpackers are elite travelers in China today, and this market, therefore, should be given priority to be explored as a tourist market of every tourist destination.
