Interaction between the Development of the Shanghai City and That of Its Libraries

论述上海城市发展的萌芽时期、发展时期、繁荣时期以及确立世界城市发展目标对上海图书馆事业发展的促进和推动作用。指出上海城市发展与图书馆发展互动存在的不足,描绘上海城市确立世界级城市地位的发展目标及上海图书馆确立世界级城市图书馆的发展愿景。认为城市图书馆的发展对于提升城市品质、营造城市文化氛围以及增强城市国际文化交流活力起着重要的促进作用。

This paper reviews the three developmental stages of Shanghai City. In this paper it is thought that the fixation of its goal as a world city has greatly promoted the development of the Shanghai City. At the same time, the paper puts forward that the development of Shanghai does not coincide with that of the city library. In addition, it is thought that the library development plays a vital role in enhancing the international culture exchange of Shanghai.
