摘要
将几种Ni,Nd含量高达20at%和15at%的Mg基合金直接铸入楔型金属模,然后采用熔体急冷法快速凝固制成厚度为30~100μm的条带,X射线衍射和差分扫描量热计(DSC)的分析结果证明在楔型模及条带中上述镁基合金确实以非晶态存在,实验测定这些非晶条带的抗拉强度和显微硬度分别为330~630MPa和190~250kg/mm ̄2,远远大于常规铸态镁基合金,并对其应用前景和这类镁基合金的非晶态形成能力进行了分析。
A number of Mg-based alloys containing up to 20 at%Ni and 15 at%Nd were cast di-rectly into a wedge-shaped mould and subsequently rapidly-solidified by chill-block melt-spinning to produce ribbons between 30~100 μm in thickness. The existence of amorphous-ness in the wedge and ribbons was confirmed by X-ray diffraction and DSC. The tensilestrength and microhardness of the ribbons measured are in the range of 330~630 MPa and190~250 kg/mm ̄2, respectively,which are significantly higher than those of conventionallycast Mg alloys. The potential application and the amorphousness forming ability of these al-loys are discussed.
