This paper describes the growth, the genetic variation and the property of free-pollination for Larix clgensis.The results of study show that the variation of wood density and tracheid length are very obvious among family and within family; the genetic capacity of tree height, diameter,density and length of tracheid is heighter;the heredity of wood density and tracheid length is independent; wood negatine density with tree height and breast height diameter appear negatine interrelation exceedingly remarbable;the tracheid length with breast height diameter appear positive interrelation exceeding remarkable.
