Ecological risk assessment on water environment is a new technique which has been developed since 1980's. It is the foundation of modern environmental management. The assessment procedure may consist of five aspects: source analysis, receptor evaluation, exposure and effect and risk assessment. Ecological principle is the guide to assessment and the result of ecotoxicological tests are the key conponents in the whole work.
