Oral and intraperitoneal administration of polysaccharide from Tremella fuciformis Berk showed remarkable inhibition on the increase of SGPT activities in rat's serum by carbontetrachloride. While polysac- charides from Auricularia auricula showed much less effects. Polysaccharides from Tremella fuciformis Berk and Auricularia auricula also exhibited antagonism to frequency of micronuclei induced by cyclophosphamide in mice.
