Ideological and Political Work in Colleges Must Focus on Ideal and Belief Education

当前,在校大学生深层次思想问题突出:理想信念弱化,个人利益价值取向与社会需要发生偏差。其原因有:国际反华势力的影响,国内社会大环境的影响,党内问题对大学生的影响,高校内部问题的影响。所以,要充分认识加强理想信念教育的紧迫性、必要性,注重理想信念教育的针对性和有效性,更应该突出理想信念教育这个核心。

Currently, a profound problem of ideology of college students stands out characteristic of empty ideal, vague belief and deviation in rating the value of individual interest against social need. Four factors account for the problem： international anti-China forces, social environment at home, problems within the CPC and interior problems of colleges. So we must know precisely the necessity and urgency to strengthen ideal and belief education, focusing on its pertinence and validity, and still more, giving prominence to it.
