摘要
本文介绍以硫磺和二氯苯为原料,6-氨基已酸及其钠盐为催化剂,在极性有机溶剂中合成高分子量PPS树脂.在最佳反应条件下(反应温度170~240℃,反应时间4~7h)制得的PPS树脂呈白色疏松状聚集体,产品熔融冷却后呈浅灰黄色,分子量为3~5万,介于吴羽线型高分子量PPS W-205和W-214之间,树脂性能类似吴羽线型高分子量PPS树脂-Fortron PPS,具有熔融粘度低、加工变色小等特点.树脂经红外光谱、激光拉曼光谱、X-射线衍射以及热分析表明,该树脂结构不同于架桥型Ryton PPS和微支化型高分子量PPS树脂,而类似于线型Fortron PPS,但存在一些细微差别,为准线型高分子量PPS树脂.与线型及微文化型高分子量PPS相比,准线型PPS的热稳定性稍差,但远优于中等分子量的架桥型Ryton PPS.
A high-molecular-weight poly (phenyl sulfide) (HMWPPS) resin was prepared from sulfur and p-dichlorobenzene in polar organic solvent,with 6-amino-caproic acid and its sodium caproate as catalyst. The PPS resin prepared under the optimum reaction condition (170~240 C ,for 4-7hours) was a white porous aggregate,and became light grey yellow when the product melt was cooled,the molecular weight of the product was 30000~50000,between those of Kureha high-molecular PPS W-205 and W-214;the property of the product was similar to Kureha linear high-molecular Fortron PPS,characterized by low melt viscosity and less color distortion during processing. The results of IR spectroscopy , Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis showed the resin was different from crosslinkable Ryton PPS and micro-branch-high-molecular-weight PPS in structure,but similar to linear Fortron PPS,with a little difference ,and was a quasi-linear-high-molecu-lar-wight PPS(QLHMWPPS)resin. Compared with linear and microbranch-high-moleculas-weight PPS resins, the thermal stability of QLHMWPPS was not very good,but obviously better than that of crosslinkable Ryton PPS.
