Though the stone reliefs excavated from the tombs of Han dynasty are not pure Buddhist hags, they contain ecological, aesthetic conceptions of existence of early Buddhism, which had emerged the particular background of cultural transformation at that time. Through the vivid and visual images stone reliefs, we can not only have a taste of early Buddhism's belief in self without sentiments and in paintout of of the equality of all living things, but also sense the profundity and solemnity of the topics-- the warning of ecological disasters and the ultimate care about human destiny. These cultural remains preserved as appendages to the tombs 2000 years ago are very significant in our efforts to solve the increasingly serious ecological crises.
