摘要
徐光启是明末杰出的科学家和农学家,文章从以下几个方面论述了徐光启在肥料科技方面所取得的成绩,即:详细总结了当时所使用的各种肥料;积极研制新肥料;改进和提高松江地区棉花施肥技术;广泛收集整理全国各地的施肥技术。徐光启对传统肥料科技有总结、试验、推广和创新之贡献。
Xu Guangqi was a prominent scientist and agriculturalist in late Ming dynasty. This paper summarized his contribution to manure technology. He made a detailed list of different kinds of manure then in use and the way to use them, improved the manure technology for cotton in Songjiang region and developed new manure as well. In conclusion, Xu Guangqi＇s achievements lie in his efforts to summarize, test, popularize as well as innovate then Chinese traditional manure technology.
