This paper discusses Einstein＇s religious value and holds that he is a deist. It also analyses the connotation of the cosmic religious emotion, arguing that the essential difference between the cosmic religion and traditional religions lies in the combination of the reasonability, comprehensiveness and sincere emotion, which is called the cosmic religious emotion by scientists. That is the most powerful, noblest motivation for the scientific research. In fact, it is Einstein who further enhances the richness of religious connotation and religious emotion.
