摘要
本文提出了新一代继电保护的思想──暂态保护,它不同于目前电力系统广泛应用的基于检测故障产生的稳态工频量保护方法。暂态保护利用故障暂态产生的高频信号来检测故障。文章论述了暂态保护优于现有技术的优点,并简单介绍了目前开发的基于这一思想的新的保护方案。
This paper presents a new concept in powersystem protection,'Transient Based Protection'. In contrast to current protection schemes applied in power systemswhich are based on the measurement of power frequencycomponents, Transient Based Protection utilizes the faultgenerated high frequency transient components to detect theoccurrence of fault. The paper outlines the advantages ofthe concept over the existing techniques. A brief introduction of a number of new schemes based on the concept is included in the paper.
