摘要
屈曲约束支撑在承受拉力和压力的情况下,表现出相同的滞回性能和优良的耗能能力。介绍了近年来发展和应用比较成熟的屈曲约束支撑以及此种支撑形式设计中的几个关键问题。最后,对于近些年来这种支撑在抗震地区的应用进行了回顾。新建高层钢结构的大量应用实例和已有结构的抗震加固的应用表明,此种支撑的使用前景非常广阔。
Buckling-restrained braces (BRBs) show the same hysteretic behavior and higher energy absorption capacity in both compression and tension. Research and developments of various types of BRBs with different configurations are introduced. Some key issues in designing BRBs are discussed. Their applications in both newly-built high-rise steel buildings and the seismic retrofit of the existing buildings show good prospects of usinng BRBs.
