The implications of nature in Robert Frost＇ s poetry are numerous, complicated and contradictory, from which the nature may roughly be categorized into the following eight： aesthetically beautiful nature, mysterious and fearful nature, alienation-producing nature, alienation-dispelling nature, metaphorical and symbolic nature, nature in contrast of society, nature arousing creative inspiration, and nature of religious colour.
