Causes of Plate Type Elastomeric Pad Bearing Failure and the Pad’s Maintaining of Highway Bridge

板式橡胶支座在使用过程中,由于设计和施工的原因以及材料老化的原因,易发生异常变形、开裂、滑动支座不能滑动等病害。梁底面和支座垫石顶面不水平是病害产生的主要原因,用顶升法将梁端顶起,调整支座垫石和梁底钢板的水平,并更换支座。

For the reasons of design, construction and material aging, plate type elastomeric pad used on bridge would appear unusual deformation, cracks, glide etc., in which the unevences of the bottom surface and the top surface of the bearing pads are the main ones. According to these cases, some maintaining methods for them are discussed in this paper.
