摘要
提出用干涉区域自动生成系统来识别不容易被加工的关键区域。根据给定的刀具尺寸参数,本系统通过分析曲面几何形状,自动识别不易被加工的区域并将零件表面自动划分为关键区域和可加工区域。该系统已经应用到作者开发的CAD系统并在几种复杂表面零件的生产中使用,明显减少了刀具路径生成时间,提高了加工效率。
A system that can automatically identify critical regions of sculptured part surface that are unfeasible for machining is presented, For a given cutter, through surface geometry analyzing, the system automatically identifys the regions that are unfea- sible for machining and dichotomize part surface into the critical region and the machinable region, This proposed system has been developed and used by author in a CAD system , and it is shown to be robust and efficient for sculptured surface machining.
