Synchronous Electronic Discussions:Linguistic Features and Pedagogical Implication

从一项实时在线讨论的研究入手,以几次师生实时在线英语讨论的语言为例,分析师生网上用语。研究的结果表明,网络交际能力是新时代大学生所要掌握的能力之一,师生在论坛上的英语讨论可以促进该能力的培养,而且能增强学生英语学习动机,是有益英语学习的方法;同时也指出,教师要善于讨论前后的引导,使英语语言的运用更为准确。

This paper describes the linguistic features of synchronous electronic discussions, The author points out that the ability of on- line communication is one of the important abilities college students should master; synchronous electronic discussions can enhance students＇ motive and improve their English learning as well. But teachers should input more language resources to better the quality of discussions.
