摘要 针对高职生源的特点,依据素质教育的要求,在承认学生个体差异的基础上,有必要实施分层次英语教学。分层次英语教学应根据学生实际情况,确定各层次的教学目标、教学内容、教学方法,使每个学生都能得到充分发展。以个案教学改革为例,剖析了英语分层次教学改革及改革成效和应注意的问题。 In the light of the characteristics of higher vocational college students and the requirement of quality education, it is important to acknowledge students' differences and implement English teaching for different levels of competency. To implement English teaching for different levels of competency should determine the teaching objective, teaching content and teaching approach of every level in terms of students' practical condition to ensure that every student can develop fully, This paper, taking the teaching case as example, expounds the reform of English teaching for different levels of competency, its effects and the problems concerned.
