摘要
21世纪的高等英语教育应把重点放在培养具有自主学习能力、发散性思维能力和创新能力的高素质人才上,树立以学生为教学主体、以教师为主导的科学教育理念。社会建构主义理论为我们提供了实现这一目标的可行性策略。本文在分析建构主义教学观的基础上,结合我国外语教学的特点,探讨了建构主义学习设计六要素在英语教学中的应用,旨在更加有效地提高英语教学质量。
Higher education in the 21st century should focus on training high-quality individuals with autonomous learning abilities,diverse thinking abilities and creativity. It should establish the scientific educational concept of student-centeredness with teachers serving as guides. The theoretical principles of social constructivism just make this new approach possible. Based on the analysis of the social constructivist approach to education and the characteristics of English Language Teaching(ELT) in China,this paper examines the application of six elements of constructivist learning design in ELT,so that the overall language teaching qualities can be enhanced.
