This paper explores and discusses the damages caused by liquid steel peroxidization from the three aspects of slag splashing furnace protecting operation, product quality, smelting cost, and systematically analyzes the reasons leading to peroxidization, pointing out the shortcomings existing in the original material supply, production organization, process routines and process regulations, putting forward corresponding advice and improvements.
