摘要
本文试图借用丘吉尔市长的书名为题,再借用美国俄勒冈州波特兰市(Portland,Oregon)50年发展规划和实施效果,并结合个人在波特兰的亲身体验,将个人心得体会扼要道来,揭示当今中国城市发展当中的一个要害问题。
Quoting a same name book by S. Churchill and drawing the successful experiences from the development plans and its implementing in Portland of U. S. , the Author through personal observing briefly write down his understandings to reveal a crucial issue now exited in the developing cities in China.
