摘要
八十年代初,波兰数学家Z.Pawlak提出Rough Set(RS)的数学理论,直到十年之后,由于这个理论在机器学习、从数据库中发现知识、决策支持与分析等方面的应用,才引起了人工智能(AI)研究者的关注.本文在简要地介绍了Rough Set的理论基础之后,对当前这个理论的研究进展与应用作了较详细的评述.
The Rough Set Theory (abbr. RS) was introduced by Z. Pawlak, a polish mathematician, in 1982. However, this theory hasn't been given much attention by researchers in Artificial Intelligence until the end of 1980's. When it,has been widely applied in Machine Learning. Knowledge Discovery from Databases, and Decision Support and Analysis etc. This paper introduces the foundation of Rough Set theory, and reviews the recent advances of the research and the application of R.S.
