Effects of NO-1886 on Plasma C-reactive Protein in Highfat/high sucrose/highCholesterol Dietfed Miniature Pigs

摘要 目的探讨NO-1886对高糖/高脂/高胆固醇饲养的小型猪血浆炎症标志物C-反应蛋白水平的影响。方法15只雄性巴马小型猪分成3组,分别饲以正常饮食,高脂/高糖/高胆固醇(HFSCD)和高脂/高糖/高胆固醇加1%NO-1886饮食(HFSCD+NO-1886)5个月,每两周称一次体重,每月末抽血测定C-反应蛋白的浓度,5月末处死动物后取腹膜后脂肪、大网膜、肠系膜脂肪测定其相对重量。结果HFSCD饲养的小型猪体重明显增加,尤其是腹膜后脂肪、大网膜和肠系膜的脂肪重量显著增加,并且血浆C-反应蛋白水平明显升高;在HFSCD中加入NO-1886明显减轻了小型猪的体重增加,抑制脂肪的异位蓄积,降低了血浆C-反应蛋白的浓度。结论NO-1886可以明显降低高脂/高糖/高胆固醇饲养的小型猪血浆C-反应蛋白的水平升高。 Objective To ascertain whether NO - 1886 has beneficial action in plasma C - reactive protein in high - fat/high - sucrose/high - cholesterol diet (HFSCD) - fed miniature pigs. Methods Male, fifteen Bama - miniature pigs were fed for 5 months on a control diet or a HFSCD with, or without NO - 1886( 1.0% ) . Body weights were recorded ever) two weeks. Plasma C - reactive protein was measured lnonthly. The pigs were sacrificed at the end of month 5 and the amounts of retroperitoneal, epiploon, and mesenteric fats weight were compared. Results The body weights of HFSCD miniature pigs were markedly elevated with time, especially the amounts of retroperitoneal, epiploon, and lnesenteric fats (g/kg body weight) were significantly increased. The plasma C- reactive protein also significantly increased in HFSCD group. Whereas supplementing HFSCD with 1% NO - 1886 inhibited body weight gain throughout the study, decreasing abdominal fat accumulation and decreasing plasma C - reactive protein. Conclusion These results indicate that long - term administration of NO - 1886 may have a beneficial effect on plasma C- reactive protein in HFSCD- fed lniniaturc pigs.
