人力资本理论、教育公平理论、高等教育社会化理论和高等教育大众化理论是高等教育适应农村发展的理论基础;高等教育的发展要与农村人力资源的现状、农村高等教育的需求相适应,体现教育机会公平和“弱势补偿”原则,并逐步实现高等教育的社会化和多样化,以增强对农村发展的适应性。

Higher education adapting to the countryside is based on the human resources theory, fair education theory, theory of the socialization of higher education and theory of the popularization of higher education. The development of higher education should adapt to the contemporary conditions of human resources in the countryside and the requirement of higher education in the countryside,reflect the principles of equal opportunities to receive higher education and preferential treatment for the less developed, and realize the socialization and diversification of higher education-in order that it can adapt to the development of the countryside.
