摘要 Recent research advances in wastewater treatments with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2),especially the advances at home are introduced.Treatment methods include Fenton reagent(H2O2 /FeSO4), UV/H2O2, O3 /H2O2, UV/TiO2 /H2O2, activated carbon/H2O2, etc. Pollutants include sulfides,cyanides,phenolics,dyes,pesticides and miscellaneous.The treatment effects are decreasing COD, TOC and colourity values,and improving biodegradability.Treatment of wastewater with H2O2 can be carried out independently to reach the discharge standard.It can be also used as pretreatment or final treatment of other conventional treatments (e.g. biochemical treatment, etc) for reaching the same object.The current general situation and the future prospect of H2O2 application in environmental protections are introducedb riefly.
