摘要
详细介绍了清华大学图书馆“电子资源建设和使用读者调查”的实施情况,通过对调查结果的分析研究,了解到读者对图书馆提供的电子资源和服务的评价、读者对电子资源的认识和需求、读者使用电子资源的方式和倾向,并根据调查报告提出了更具有针对性的调整资源和改进服务的相关措施。
Since 1996 Tsinghua University Library has subscribed to more than 300 content databases. Through 70 platforms students and faculties gained access to 34,000 serial titles, in full text, including 22, 000 English titles and 12,000 Chinese titles. In 2004, within the Tsinghua campus, there were total 1,700. 000 searches to A&I databases and 2,800,000 downloads of full text articles and ebook chapters. To better understand the needs of the library patrons we conducted a survey whit focus in service satisfaction, e-resource value, usage of the information, and problems and issues in accessing databases. The responses and the results of the survey were overwhelmingly encouraging. With the positive feedbacks and constructive comments the library now can position itself to adjust the e-resource and provide better services with better information effectively.
