This article includes a brief review of the origin and development of architectural beauty, followed by a comprehensive description and understanding of its other aspects, such as its functions, features, regular patterns, etc. The author finally summarizes that the significance of architectural beauty lies in a synthetical system-- substance, structure, artistic conception, environment and aesthetic feelings of architecture.
