摘要
通过采用计量研究、比较研究的方法,对1949年以来中国东中西部高等教育区域差异的变迁作系统的梳理与分析,探讨形成和影响高等教育的区域差异的原因,揭示高等教育区域差异与社会变迁区域差异之间的互动关系,从而建立地方社会发展与高等教育发展之间的良性互动,实行区域推进策略,这是中国高等教育发展的应然选择。
This paper demonstrates a systematic study, performed by a quantitative and comparative methods, of the changes taking place in the eastern, middle, and western China since 1949. The study is intended to explore their causes, regional differences, social changes, and their co- related interactions. It is concluded that the beneficent social and educational development in various regions will determine the substantial development of Chinese higher education.
