摘要 元认知就是“个人关于自己的认知过程及结果或其他相关事情的知识”以及“为完成某一具体目标或任务,依据认知对象对认知过程进行主动的监测以及连续的调节和协调。”要运用元认知进行英语阅读教学,主要应采取:加强元认知策略意识;营造有利于提高元认知能力的外部环境等。在大学英语阅读教学中尝试运用元认知,其目的在于从根本上提高学生的阅读理解能力。 Meta- cognition means knowledge concerning own cognition course and result or other correlative business, as well as in order to fulfill some material target or task, according to cognition object, supervises, regulates and harmonizes continuously cognition course. The targets to enhance meta- cognition strategy awareness, build up external environment to improve meta - cognition competence, apply meta - cognition on English reading teaching for undergraduates are to improve undergraduate reading comprehension competence.
