摘要
认知语用学是语用学在学科自身发展过程中参照认知科学的目标、理论、方法进行语用学研究的一个学科,是语用学的一个分支。它是以语言的运用作为具体研究内容来研究人们的认知过程、认知特点、认知规律。它是语用学,但不同于经典的语用学研究;认知语用学是以心智过程来说明语言运用机制作为自己学科的理论取向的语言学研究。
Cognitive pragmatics is a branch of linguistics which, in the course of its own development, studies language use in the light of the objectives, theories, and methods of cognitive science. It aims at exploring human beings' cognitive process, peculiarities of cognition, and the rules and laws of cognition through studying the use of language as its specific contents. This is pragmatics, but it is somewhat different from its traditional studies in that it takes as its orientation of study the research of mental processes as the underlying mechanism of language use.
