摘要
本文通过分析和对比汉语翻译语料库与非翻译语料库的词语统计特征,对当代翻译小说的词语特征进行实证描述,探寻汉语翻译文本的规律性特征或“翻译规范”。本文提出:与同一语言的非翻译文本相比,汉语翻译小说存在倾向于使用更少的词汇、重复使用一定数量的常用词、实词减少等特征。这些特征反映了当代汉语小说翻译的“简化”和“常规”操作规范。
This thesis attempts to describe the lexical features of Chinese translated fiction through empirical studies based on analyzing and comparing the corpus of Chinese translated novels and those of Chinese original writing, with the ultimate purpose to discover “translational norms”.Through this study, the author proposes and testifies:Chinese translation fiction,in contrast with Chinese non-translated texts and/or fiction, tends to use fewer different words or fewer lexical words,to repeatedly use a certain number of the most frequently used words. These features have demonstrated the “simplification” and “normalization” norms of translation.
