Study on Cournot Model with Two Firms

研究了两个厂商条件下古诺模型的均衡解和动态变化过程，证明了无论第一个厂商关于产量作何种初始选择，均衡解都存在且唯一；还证明了厂商的产量变化过程必然是单调变化过程，拓展了关于古诺模型研究的有关结论。

This paper studies the equilibrium solution of Cournot model and the dynamic changes of the outputs of the firms concerned.It is proved that the equilibrium solution exists and is uniqe for any inital output choice of the first firm.It is also proved that the outputs of the two firms concerned strictly monotonicly decrease or increase.The results lay a good foundation for the further study of Cournot model with several firms.
