As developmental current of submariners stern manipulator, X rudder is received by more and more national navy. This paper introduces X rudder＇s development history overseas, analyzes manipulative characteristic of X rudder and gives manipulative method when X rudder is conked out. Aiming at the phenomenon that labor maneuvering is not distinctness for X rudder submarine, the authors put forward the design idea of equivalent rudder angle conversion equipment in order to simplify manipulative complicated degree of X rudder.
