On the Limitations of Negativism Literature Criticism

吴炫的否定主义文学批评尺度要求作品的个别性达到世界观的个别性层面,以“独象”来传达作家对世界的“个体化理解”。该尺度的提出具有现实针对性、启迪性价值,但它在认识论、操作性、实效性方面也还存在一定的局限性。

Wu Xuan’s negativism literature criticism has its critical standard. It demands that the author try to express his “individualized understanding of the world” through “individualized image.” The standard is of value in realistic pertinence and enlightening. But it has some limitations in terms of epistemology, operation and effectiveness.
