摘要
利用钛酸酯偶联剂(NDZ-105)对纳米级β-碳化硅晶须(β-SiCw)进行了表面改性处理。用静态沉淀法分析了改性前后β-SiCw的分散稳定性,用Zeta电位曲线表征了β-SiCw表面的吸附离子浓度及电性,对β-SiCw的处理效果进行了分析表征。研究表明NDZ-105以化学键合的方式结合在β-SiCw表面,并在β-SiCw表面形成了有机包覆层,改性后β-SiCw的表面性质由亲水变为亲油。经NDZ-105表面改性的β-SiCw能同时提高β-SiCw/赛璐珞复合材料的强度和韧性。
The surface modification with titanate coupling reagent (NDZ-105) of nano-β-carborundum whisker (β-SiCw) was studied. Static precipitation method was used to analyze the dispersion stability of nano-β-SiCw before and after modification, the curve of zeta potential versus pH is measured to show the potential nature of the β-SiCw surface, and the prepared samples were characterized. Results showed that the NDZ-105 was bound onto the surface of nano-β-SiCw, a firm chemical bonding of NDZ-105 to nano-β-SiCw film and an organic layer was formed. Modified nano-β-SiCw changed from hydrophitic to lyophobic. Mechanical tests revealed that the strength and toughness of the nano-β-SiCw modified with NDZ-105 were improved simultaneously.
