基于ARM的扫描式热成像指纹识别系统

摘要 指纹识别是目前生物特征识别领域最为成熟、适用的技术。为了提高指纹识别系统的安全性并降低总成本,采用Atmel公司的扫描式热成像指纹传感芯片来获取指纹图像,针对这种传感器的分片输出,设计了整幅指纹图像的快速重构算法,并在ARM处理器上实现了此图像重构算法,完成了后续的预处理、特征提取、比对等工作,在控制系统总体成本的同时取得了良好的识别效果。整个系统小巧紧凑,具备二次开发接口,能方便地嵌入到需要进行访问控制的机电设备中使用。  The majority of the biometric-based systems in operation today are fingerprint identification.To reduce cost and enhance security,a product of Atmel's scanned thermal imaging IC was employed.A fingerprint image reconstruction algorithm was also proposed for this kind of sensor.The fingerprint image reconstruction,pre-process,feature extraction and identification were done on ARM processor,which produced a good result with low cost.Due to its small size and good programmed interface,the whole system is suitable for embedding into other products that need such security enhancement.
