There is an obvious change in Emily Dickinson＇s religious belief. The absence of God in her early letters and poems and presence in her late ones reflect that she has changed from a pagan into a believer of God. However, the god in her world is quite different from the God worshipped by Christians and carries the brand of Dickinson＇s ideal.
