城市形象是城市宝贵的无形资产,是城市综合实力的外在表现,准确定位并科学设计旅游城市形象有助于提升城市的核心竞争力。桂平市的旅游资源丰富且品位高,是典型的资源型旅游城市,但旅游城市形象定位不够明确,不利于提高桂平市的知名度和树立良好的旅游城市形象。围绕三江交汇、人杰地灵、风光秀丽、环境优美、历史文化丰富等自然、文化资源优势,可将桂平市的城市形象定位和设计为"历史文化、生态旅游城市"。
Good city image improves a city's core competitive power. As a tourism city with abundant high-quality tourist attractions nonetheless vague city image which hampers the propaganda of the city itself, Guiping should establish its city image as "historical and eco-tourism city" with regards to its various natural and cultural tourism resources.
