On Ideas of Economy from Saussure's Language Viewpoints

索绪尔这位著名的语言学家,由于所处的历史时代和背景,其语言观(语言价值学说)不同程度地受这一时代的经济学思潮的启示和影响。在借鉴经济学思潮为语言学研究所用方面,索绪尔既给我们以启示,也让我们感觉到目前语言学研究的美中不足。其实,现代西方经济学思想已经为现代语言学研究,尤其是言语行为研究,提供了更为有效的借鉴和启示。

The viewpoints on language from Saussure, the noted linguist, are influenced and revealed, to some extent, by the economic trend of his age and background. Saussure has enlightened us as to making a study of language in light of economic trend, and made us aware that there are still a lot to perfect in present language studies. As a matter of fact, modern Western economics has provided much food for studies of modern linguistics＇, especially of speaking behavior.
