摘要
针对经典分形压缩算法中编码时间过长的问题,研究了小波变换在分形图像编码中的应用.根据图像经小波变换后能量主要集中在低频系数图像上,并且和同方向高频小波子带之间具有相似性的特点,而分形编码正是利用图像的自相似性,提出了一种小波域分形图像编码算法,仿真结果表明,该算法在保证重构图像质量的前提下,大幅度减少了编码时间,提高了压缩比.
In view of long coding time of classical fractal image compression algorithm, the paper studied the wavelet transformation in the fractal image coding application. According to the energy of the image mainly concentrates in thelow frequency coefficient after the wavelet transformation and between the same direction, high frequency wavelet coefficient has similar characteristic, but the fractal coding essence uses precisely the image' s similarity. A Fractal Coding Algorithm in Wavelet Domain is proposed. The simulation experiment indicated that the algorithm in guaranteed the quality of the reconstructed image. Under the premise, this method can reduce the coding time and enhance compression ratio of the reconstructed image to some extent.
