中国煤化工是在缺油少气、煤炭相对丰富的资源背景下发展起来的,正在成为世界煤化工技术的工业示范基地。从技术发展、市场供需、国家政策等方面介绍了当前煤化工主要行业及产品的状况,并对其今后的发展提出了建议。"十一五"期间,许多大型煤气化炉、大型化甲醇、二甲醚、煤液化、MTO、MTP等工程示范项目初见成效,为煤化工的发展提供了技术基础,但同时也要重视节能减排、供需矛盾等因素所带来的负面影响。

Coal chemical industry （CCI） in China has developed under the background of lack of oil and gas, and now, China is becoming a demonstration base of new technologies in coal chemical industry for their commercial production. The present status of the main lines of coal chemical industry is introduced in terms of technical development, market supply and demand, State policy, etc., and suggestions are made for its future development. During the eleventh FiveYear Plan period many projects concerning large-scale coal gasifiers, large-scale methanol plants, dimethyl ether plants, coal liquefaction plants, MTO, MTP, etc. have been effective, which serve as a technical basis for the development of coal Chemical industry. Meanwhile, attention should be drawn on the negative effect caused by energy saving, emission reducing and the problems in terms of supply and demand.
