An Analysis of Language Culture Comparison between the Translation of Chinese into English

文化对比研究是翻译研究和翻译实践的最基本维度之一，是翻译研究科学化的依归，是语言对比和文化对比的整合。翻译其实就是不同语言或同一种语言不同阶段或不同地域变体之间的转换，转换的基础是对比。通过对比，区分出同和异，然后集中探讨异质现象的处理。其中，语言文化对比是核心。

The present paper suggests that language culture comparison is not only the essential in translation study and translation practice, but also the final goal of scientific research and the rearrangement of language and culture comparison. Translation is in fact the information exchange between different languages or the varieties of the same language. Comparison is essential and the comparison between language culture is crucial during the course of information exchange, through which similarities may be found and our focus is on the differences.
